Dementia covers a range of diseases and symptoms from memory loss to difficulty with day to day living. At TJG, we have the expertise and experience to offer memory support care to people living with early or late stage of progressive dementia, minimising discomfort and enhancing their quality of life along the way.
We understand just how important it is for careers to take a break from time to time. We can offer respite to provide the support you need and make the transition as smooth and pain-free as possible. We’ll help you relax and give you comfort in knowing the person you care for is being well looked after.
TJG specialises in caring for people from specific cultural and religious backgrounds. We celebrate all cultures and are proud to be able to meet the needs of those with diverse cultural preferences. This means we focus on specialist cultural care where everything is customised from the Neighbourhood Model, food options and diet requirements to a multilingual team that can comfortably converse with and care for our residents.
At TJG we provide a wide range of community activities. These include regular bus trips to a variety of locations, community centres such as the Men’s Shed and other special events. Inside our homes we have intergenerational programs bringing the community to our residents. Other activities include live entertainers, music therapy, a visiting art therapist, and pet therapy. We conduct regular surveys of our residents’ needs and incorporate these into our daily programs and activities. TJG offers a holistic approach to the care or our residents to ensure we offer the highest level of care whilst maintaining community connections. TJG also has a volunteer program and we encourage community members and families to become involved.
TJG endeavours to create a welcoming community filled with compassion, friendship and support. We embrace each person’s individuality, independence and preferences, offering a wide array of social activities and community events.
