The aim of our diversional therapy program is to provide activities that aid the socialisation of our residents. We encourage our residents to channel their energy into positive outlets to keep minds alert and active. A personal history is developed in order to prepare a program that is individually tailored to our residents’ backgrounds.
Some of the regular activities in the leisure and lifestyle program include:
Bingo and Games
Current affairs discussions
Resident family resource groups
Mind Stimulation Activities
Our Physiotherapist works Monday to Friday and is supported by Physiotherapy Aides. Our exercise program conducts a daily muscle strengthening program. We also provide massage by our staff as and when required. A gym is also available for the use of our residents with supervision.
To support maximum independence and enhance the provision of optimum care, we also offer these specialised services:
We have a wide selection of single rooms and companion rooms. The accommodation payment is a contribution towards payment for the resident’s accommodation. These payments are calculated either as a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD), or a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP).
A RAD is determined by factors relating to the facility, its location, costs, demographics, room sizes, amenities and individual care needs. A DAP is the daily equivalent of the RAD and is determined as the financial income RAD would create based upon the current marginal interest rate (the level of income the facility would receive from the RAD). This is divided into 365 days and then calculated as the DAP.
|Room Type||Refundable Accomodation Deposite (RAD)||Daily Accomodation Payment (DAP)||Combination of both RAD + DAP|
|Single Room||From $300,000 to $550,000||From $33.21 to $60.88||From $150,000 + $16.60 to $275,000 + $30.44|
|Shared Room||From $280,000 to $300,000||From $30.99 to $33.21||From $140,000 + $15.50 to $150,000 + $16.60|
For example: The DAP is based on the MPIR of: 4.04%
The maximum RAD is $550,000 with equivalent DAP of $60.88. An example of a combination RAD/DAP is: RAD (lump sum) – $275,000 and a DAP of $30.44.
